Whose my favorite superhero? That’s a good question… I could never really decide on one growing up. I was always a ninja turtle power ranger kind of kid. Looking back I liked them because they were teams. There was always a leader, a brainy guy, the strong guy, and the screw up. I could never pick with one I wanted to be. The leader was always one to be admired, the brainy guy always saved the day at the last second by disarming the bomb, the strong guy always came in and fought his friends to safety, and the screw up linked them all together. And while batman was cruising around in a batmobile, the power rangers each had their own animal robot that rivaled a ten story building. And as if it couldnt get sweeter, they all come together to form a gigantic megazord that just destroys all other gigantic monsters. Teaching children everywhere about friendship, trust, team work, and giant butt kicking robots.
But I think a hero is defined as someone who rises above and defends the weak, and stands for the general good. So whether it be batman or your dad, to me that’s a hero.
